This lecture and lab course should combine all of the elements of GEOL 1305 Environmental Science (lecture) and GEOL 1105 Environmental Science (lab), including the learning outcomes listed for both courses. (Cross-listed with ENVR 1401). A survey of the forces, including humans, that’s shape our physical and biologic environment, and how they affect life on Earth. Introduction to the science and policy of global and regional environmental issues, including pollutions, climate change, and sustainability of land, water, and energy resources. Laboratory based content that accompanies Environmental Science (lecture). Activities will cover methods used to collect and analyze environmental data.
