This course provides students with the capability to understand what leadership is, its basic concepts, and how to analyze personal leadership knowledge. It provides a comprehensive overview to prepare students to become leaders in Fire Service, Emergency Medical Services, and Law Enforcement professions with an emphasis on organizational and leadership tools for officers, managers, and administrators. Topics include leadership theories and styles, leadership performance, individual leadership skills, conflict resolutions, and mediation used by public safety administrators.
