EMGT 4304 - Emergency Response Operations Semester Credit Hours: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0
The course will examine the historical and political impact of international/domestic terrorism on emergency management operations. Students will evaluate the principles that promote effective disaster response and recovery operations and examine the roles and responsibilities of those involved in emergency management. In addition, they will assess terrorism and emergency response protocols and determine factors that increase scene safety. Students will develop a plan for post disaster recovery and recognize the elements of a comprehensive continuity program using the principles and concepts studied in this course and other program curriculum.
