With the increased demand for Information Technology (IT) specialists, this program will help prepare students to enter the exciting field of IT.

The Computer Networking, Occupational Skills Award (OSA) prepares students for IT fields primarily as they relate to the CompTIA Network+ certification exam. CompTIA Network+ validates the core skills necessary to establish, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure networks in any environment, preparing students for a rewarding career in networking and cybersecurity. This OSA specifically prepares students for IT positions, such as IT support manager, network administrator, systems administrator, and other IT positions.

Once completed, this curriculum will allow students to move forward in their IT career pursuits.

Marketable skills for this award include: problem solving and technical skills.
