TJC’s one-semester Occupational Skills Award in Public Administration: Leadership is perfect for you if you are already employed in the industry, but want to enter into a management position or continue to move up the career ladder.

With our small class sizes and expert faculty, we will teach supervision skills, human resource needs, and ethics to help you continue in your chosen field.

At the end of the semester, you will be ready to take on a leadership position and help guide others to success!

Marketable skills for this award include: leadership, organizational skills, and problem solving.

An Occupational Skills Award (OSA) is the most basic sequence of courses that will prepare students for employment. Students are not able to declare an OSA as a major, or pursue one as an end goal. However, almost all OSAs are built into other certificates and/or majors, and they will be automatically awarded to students as they complete coursework in those certificates and/or majors.
