The Associate of Science in science is designed for students with a science-related major that does not match the coursework required for the AS in Biology, Chemistry or Physics. This major would be suitable for students interested in health professions that require an advanced degree such as pharmacy, physical therapy and physician assistant, as well as students interested in engineering.

Marketable skills for this award include: analytical/quantitative skills, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, team work, technical skills and time management.

To receive the degree, the student must make a minimum grade of “C” in all required math and science courses.
