The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Game and Simulation Development provides a solid foundation, emphasizing practical skills and creative innovation to prepare graduates for entry-level roles in this dynamic field.

Students benefit from a comprehensive curriculum that covers essential areas such as game design, digital art, animation, 3D modeling, and programming. The program prioritizes hands-on learning experiences, enabling students to collaborate on projects that closely reflect real-world industry practices.

Students will graduate with a professional portfolio that highlights their skills in character creation, immersive environments, and engaging gameplay mechanics. Our faculty, who bring extensive experience from the video game industry, enhance the learning experience with valuable insights and mentorship. The program also emphasizes the use of industry-standard software and methodologies, ensuring students are well-prepared to adapt to the evolving demands of this rewarding and competitive industry.

Marketable skills for this award include: computer skills + typing, creativity, critical thinking, detail-orientation, problem solving, and technical skills.

Every Associate of Applied Science degree plan must contain at least 15 semester hours of general education courses.
