Automotive Technology: Introduction to Automotive Skills, OSA

An Occupational Skills Award (OSA) is the most basic sequence of courses that will prepare students for employment. Students are not able to declare an OSA as a major, or pursue one as an end goal. The Automotive Technology: Introduction to Automotive Skills, OSA is built into the first semester of the first certificate, the Automotive Technology: Engine Performance, CERT. Both this certificate and the OSA are incorporated into the Automotive Technology, Associate of Applied Science Degree. The OSA will be automatically awarded to students as they complete coursework in the certificate and degree.

Marketable skills for this award include: technical skills and problem solving.
