The Occupational Skills Award (OSA) in Fundamentals of Industrial Maintenance provides students with a strong foundation in the essential skills needed for careers in industrial maintenance. This award is designed to recognize students who have successfully completed their first semester of training, encouraging them to continue their education toward an associate’s degree.
Through coursework, students will come to understand mechanical systems, tools, and safety procedures, including learning fundamental electrical concepts, circuits, and troubleshooting techniques. With lab-intensive, hands-on training, students will begin installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment.
