Follow your passion for music, audio recording, and multimedia production in the Live and Recorded Sound program at TJC. This innovative program combines the strengths of mass communication, theatre, and music to provide students with the skills needed to succeed in the field of audio production. With training in audio recording, music production, live sound, lighting, and video production, graduates will be well-equipped to produce live and recorded music with multimedia presentation capabilities.

This program offers hands-on training in a creative and dynamic environment and prepares students for a bright career outlook. According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, jobs in this field are projected to grow faster than the average, at 10%. With a starting wage of $31,879 and an average wage of $48,055 in Texas, the opportunities for success are endless.
