The Real Estate, OSA is designed to fulfill all educational content requirements established by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) for professional licensing. The program serves traditional college students, working adults, retirees, and persons with all levels of college experience - including none. At the completion of the course series, students will be eligible to sit for the TREC salesperson licensing examination.
Marketable skills for this award include: regulatory understanding (real estate laws, contracts, and regulations for conducting transactions ethically and legally), market analysis (market trends, property values, and financial data for informed advice to clients), and problem solving (basic skills to find solutions for clients in complex real estate situations).
