The Firefighter I, Occupational Skills Award is about creating, maintaining, and providing a safe environment for society. In this program, the student will gain the necessary basic firefighter 1 training and education to be able to obtain the Basic Structure Firefighter 1 certification. The student will be eligible to gain employment at fire service agencies across the state of Texas.
